News!
Last weekend, FOI Board members met with the mayor of Monterey, Clive Roberson and the Consulate General of Italy, San Francisco, Sergio Strozzi. Topic for discussion was working together to ensure all Italians in our area stay connected through cultural events and exchanges. Many area dignitaries attend the meeting: Chief of Police, Salinas, Pepe, Carmel and Monterey restaurant entrepreneur, Gaspar Cardinale, Monterey Sister City, council members from surrounding cities and the representative from the Monterey Italian Heritage organization.
